Good start but I want you to develop more questions. You want to make your questions specific enough to get good quotes.

One more person I think you should interview are parents. We should know how they feel about these changes.

What do you think about the “School Spirit Day” every Friday?
and
How has having school spirit helped other schools?
Other questions you should ask are:
Ask students if they are really going to follow this “spirt friday’s”
Do teacher’s think this may be a waste of time?
I do understand the main idea of your article and I feel like it’s an important one to put into the Beachcomber.

One more person I think you should interview is… maybe the former principal
My favorite two questions you asked are … What will this do for our school?… and … How has this helped other schools? … because … what happens to our school and how spirit may be helpful is what is important.
Three more questions you should ask are… Why have the school colors changed? What are the official colors? How does Dr. Sidener intend on making MBSH students more spirited (aside from Fridays)?
